The buzz in town has David R. Lombardy going national with the Original Dave's Cosmic Subs. What Started in 1997 in a tiny shop decorated with rock and roll relics is now bursting out in a big way.

Since opening the original Dave's Cosmic Subs shop on March 5, 1997, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, David R. Lombardy, founder and president, has opened additional shops in the Cleveland area and even Georgia. Now with the help of a franchise developer, Dave’s subs will be showing up everywhere.

Lombardy spent ten years enjoying the local music scene in Mill Valley, the fashionable suburb outside San Francisco. An accomplished musician and fan of rock and roll for years he knew that combining affordable good food and the rock and roll theme would work.

In every store the walls, ceiling and even the coolers are adorned with rock-n-roll memorabilia. Sandwiches with names such as Dave's Haight-Ashbury, The Grateful Dave and The Veg-Out, to name a few, carry on the rock-n-roll theme. And of course the 60's sounds that seep from the top of the line sound system complete the scene. Strict quality control and the freshest ingredients are a must! It’s the only sub in the world that ROCKS!
